BFHealthcare was founded in 1987 by Barry M. Fabius, M.D and Anthony J. Dean, M.D.  At that time Dr. Fabius was Director of the Medical House Officer Program at Albert Einstein Medical Center-Daroff Division and Dr. Dean was the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Mount Sinai Hospital in Philadelphia.  The two founders had recognized the pressing need for medical house officers and hospitalists, and the lack of a reliable business source for physician staffing services.  Since its inception BFHealthcare has become one of the premier physician job placement companies in the Philadelphia and Delaware Valley region providing physician jobs for temporary physicians and moonlighters.

The mission of BFHealthcare is to meet the physician staffing coverage needs of its varied clients by recruiting, screening, scheduling and coordinating the activities of qualified board-certified/board-eligible physicians who provide quality care at the highest level. The leadership, staff members and contract physicians of BFHealthcare understand that we are entrusted with both the well-being of the patients and the hard earned reputations of our clients.  The company operates from that premise on every shift of every assignment.
